Terms and Conditions.
By booking a service through this website or on the phone, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with the booking.
Booking Confirmation
Booking a service online does not guarantee your requested date/time. You will be contacted via email or phone if we are unable to fulfill your request.
Payments
For residential and commercial clients payments are due once the booking is confirmed and can be made by bank transfer, or credit card.
We require at least 24 hours' notice for any changes or cancellations to ensure we can reassign our cleaners. Failure to notify us within this period will result in your €50 deposit being converted into a cancellation fee. This fee is non-refundable, and a new deposit will be required for future bookings.
Clients can reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time, with a maximum of five reschedules. Beyond five, the €50 will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
Cleaning Appointments
For all paid cleaning appointments, if a customer wishes to cancel or reschedule, the amount will be added as credits to their account. This credit can be used to book future services at a time that suits them. Please note, refunds are not available once the booking is secured.
Our Cleaning Bees
Depending on the size of client's house, we would typically assign teams of two for each job. Occasionally, additional cleaners may be necessary due to the workload or scheduling demands. We strive to maintain consistency in the cleaners while ensuring all technicians receive adequate cross-training.
All our employees undergo rigorous background checks before joining Busy Bee Cleaning. You can trust that our staff upholds high standards of integrity and accountability.
Right To Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service due to safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, presence of weapons, severe clutter, or disconnected utilities.
Our employees may choose to leave if they encounter unsanitary conditions or feel unsafe. If the service is refused on-site for these reasons, a cancellation fee will be charged.
Cleaning Jobs
Busy Bee Cleaning, holds the right to take before and after photos of client property, this is to measure quality assurance and completed tasks of cleaning jobs.
Cleaning Day Preparation
To maximize cleaning efficiency, we ask that you tidy up any clutter to allow easy access to areas needing cleaning, such as floors, countertops, and tabletops. If you'd like our cleaners to handle tidying tasks, please inform us in advance so we can adjust your cleaning fee accordingly.

We are happy to work around pets, but for safety and efficiency, please limit their activity during cleaning. If your pet becomes anxious or poses a safety risk, Busy Bee Cleaning reserves the right to remove our staff from your home. If our technician leaves due to an aggressive pet, the cancellation policy will apply.
Service Fees
Prices are subject to change based on property size, number of additional rooms, and the level of dirtiness compared to the initial description. Prices are based on our experience but may be adjusted based on the actual condition of your home.
We reserve the right to reevaluate rates at any time based on the time required to meet your cleaning standards. We will discuss any necessary price or service revisions with you if the cleaning time significantly differs from the original estimate.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds; all sales are final. If we fail to meet your expectations, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will rectify the issue with a complementary follow-up cleaning at no additional charge.
Busy Bee Cleaning may take up to 7 working days to respond to a complaint.
Complaints are accepted in writing text messaging/email/letter. Complaints must be reported on completion or in the following 24-hour.
Recurring Service Discount
Recurring discounts apply after the first cleaning service. If you skip cleanings, resulting in a lower cleaning frequency than scheduled, your price will be adjusted to reflect the lower frequency.
Rate Increases
Rates may be adjusted during the year due to changes in service frequency or significant changes in your home, such as a remodel, address change, or an increase in occupants or furniture. Annual rate increases may also apply.
Disputed Charges & Resolution Policy
1.Payment Authorisation
By engaging Busy Bee Cleaning for services, the client authorises the company to process payment for all services rendered using the payment method provided. This includes initial quotes and any reasonable additional charges incurred due to unforeseen work beyond the standard scope, such as severe property conditions, extended labor hours, or additional materials.
2. Notification of Additional Charges
If during the course of a job, it becomes evident that the work required significantly exceeds the original agreement or quote, Busy Bee Cleaning reserves the right to apply additional charges. These charges will reflect actual labor, materials, and time invested in delivering the service to a professional standard. Clients will be informed of changes in scope where reasonably possible during the service.
3. Dispute Timeframe
Clients agree to notify Busy Bee Cleaning of any disputed charges within 7 days of payment confirmation. After this period, all charges will be deemed accepted and non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Chargeback Policy
In the event of a chargeback or reversed payment initiated by the client without prior communication or a valid basis under these terms, Busy Bee Cleaning reserves the right to:
Suspend all future services for the client
Pursue debt recovery or legal action
Submit all documentation, including time logs, photos, and service agreements, to defend the charge through the payment provider
5. Evidence and Resolution
Busy Bee Cleaning maintains records of all work performed, including staff timesheets, before-and-after photos, checklists, and correspondence. These will be provided in case of dispute to support a fair and accurate resolution.
6. Mediation Clause
In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to engage in good faith mediation before pursuing legal action. Mediation shall be conducted by an independent and neutral third party agreed upon by both parties. Each party will bear its own costs of mediation. This step is intended to resolve disagreements fairly and efficiently, without unnecessary legal escalation.
7. Good Faith & Final Resolution
Busy Bee Cleaning is committed to acting in good faith and expects the same from its clients. All efforts will be made to resolve disputes professionally and amicably. However, the company reserves the right to enforce payment for completed services in full accordance with this agreement.
Lockouts
Please ensure that Busy Bee Cleaning have access to your home on the scheduled service day. If our team is locked out and contact cannot be made within 20 minutes, the cleaning will be skipped, and a €50 late cancellation fee will be charged. To avoid this fee, provide a key or access code.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Reliability is key, so we ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel to avoid a €50 cancellation fee.
Alarm
If your home has a security system, please ensure it is off or provide us with the code and instructions. If the code changes, notify us to avoid a lockout charge.
Use Of Homeowner’s Vacuum
If you request that we use your vacuum, we are not responsible for any damage to the unit. If your vacuum is not in working order when we arrive, we will be unable to perform vacuuming services.
Cleaning Supplies
We provide all the necessary equipment and products. If you prefer us to use specific green cleaning products or your own supplies, please notify us before the service begins. Note that we are not responsible for any damage resulting from the use of your cleaning products.
Items We Cannot Clean
We do not specialise in mold removal and are not liable for any mold-related risks in your home.
We do not clean hoarding conditions or areas contaminated with bodily fluids, blood, feces, vomit, cat litter, bird cages, or similar waste.
Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items
For safety reasons, our employees will not climb higher than a step stool or work outside your home. Cleaners cannot move items over 35 pounds. Please move heavy objects before the cleaning if you want us to clean behind them.
Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy
Although rare, damage or breakage can occur. Our cleaners take great care, but in the event of damage, we carry insurance to cover it.
We are not liable for damage due to normal wear and tear, improper installation, or items not disclosed during the booking process, including but not limited to:
Artwork, collectibles, or family heirlooms: These items are expensive and irreplaceable. Please point them out before service and provide special handling instructions.
Notification of any breakage or loss must be made within 24 hours. While identical replacement is our goal, it cannot be guaranteed.
Cleaners Arrival Window
We schedule cleanings to minimize travel time and keep costs low. Specific times are not guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate requests.
Unforeseen circumstances like traffic, weather, or mechanical issues may cause delays. We will inform you if we are running late.
Inclement Weather
We will close if weather conditions prevent from opening.
Keys
For security, we ask clients to provide a lockbox for key storage outside their residence. We will return the key to the lockbox after the service. Busy Bee Cleaning are not liable for any damages or theft if a door is left unlocked or a key is placed in an unsecured location.
Non-Solicitation of Employees
We ask that you do not solicit or hire our employees directly. Our cleaners are thoroughly vetted and trained. Significant resources are invested in their preparation before they are allowed to work in your home.
Commercial Clients
Late Payment Charges
If payment is not made after sending a reminder, a late payment fee will apply in accordance with the Irish Prompt Payment of Accounts Act. The late fee is calculated at 8% per annum above the European Central Bank’s main refinancing operations rate, accruing daily from the due date until the invoice is paid in full.
4. Additional Charges
Interest on Overdue Payments: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue balances as per the Irish Prompt Payment of Accounts Act.
Collection Costs: Any costs incurred by Busy Bee Cleaning in recovering overdue payments, including legal fees and collection agency charges, will be added to the outstanding balance and will be the responsibility of the client.
Non-Payment Fees: If a payment remains unpaid after due date, additional fees will be charged, including administrative fees and any further late interest fees as outlined.
5. Legal Action for Non-Payment
If payment is not received by the due date despite multiple attempts to communicate, Busy Bee Cleaning will initiate legal proceedings to recoup the outstanding balance. This may include but is not limited to, the issuance of a formal legal demand and possible court action. Busy Bee Cleaning reserves the right to recover all associated legal costs and fees.
Governing Law
Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
Busy Bee Cleaning reserve the right to change these terms & conditions at any time without prior notice.
